After exam still got books to read.. but these books are more interesting and enjoyable when flipping through. These were photography magazines which my colleague shared his "treasure" with me. Currently i have read 3 different issue photography books. Magazines from Malaysia, Taiwan & Hong Kong. Prefer reading Malaysia photography magazines, as the copy shown a lot of sample photos, comparison of lens and cameras. For Taiwan & HK copies are in chinese and were more to commerical photography. Most stuffs mentioned in the books i don't understand at all. Just flip through and see nice photos. But there are still some guidance such as white balance, photoshop etc. Ha ha..


In my company there are 2 colleagues who are also love photography. Surprisingly we are "Nikon gang". All got common interests, before work early in the morning chat about photography, in between work chat again & sometime go online check stuffs, during lunch also chat about our photography experiences, after work also chat and sometime went out for photography trip. Some of my experiences was learnt from them through chatting and sharing.
Other than that, another channel is through online forum. There are so many things to learn about DSLR camera. From aperture to shutter speed, then to ISO, white balance, exposure and many more. Now i have so many wish list in my mind, kit lens is not enough for me. Saving for my "King of DX Len" after this what next???

我要下车！

上下班的趣事还真多，一两天还说不完呢！
我在“无所事事”时最喜欢观察周围的一切。。。
人们的一举一动，猜猜他们的下个动作，猜猜他们心理的OS。。。
二十多年的经验不是盖地，不去读怎么心理学也会啊。。。
我就别在臭屁了，就来分享今早等公车的一则小“趣事”吧

话说今早啊。。。不是说相声，从来。。。

今早就像平常一样步行到车站等公车。没什么特别，一样的人群，一样的车来车往，一样的讨厌（好拥挤）。
公车一辆一辆驶进车站，人们就像是“货物”般地，上下货，载往目的地。。。
公车一到车站就打开前门和后门让车里的人下车。
另一件讨厌的事来了，上车的人们这时就纷纷的挤在到前门。。。 仿佛就像搭地铁一样。。。
里头的人就要像流水般寻找缝隙快速下车，门前的人就像块块的大石头般阻碍着。。。
事情就这样发生了，车一到人们就一窝蜂地挤到车门。门一开就冲上去，一点也不愿礼让里头的人全下车才上，一来一往。
车里就刚好有一位年迈的老太婆要从前门下车。不巧前门一开，来不及下车就被急忙上车的人们推挤回到车里。心急的老婆婆设法从人们中的缝隙挤呀推呀，深怕会下不了车。在这推挤中，触怒了一位刚冲上车的中年男子。老婆婆当时推挤到了他，他毫不留情地一手往老婆婆的背后一推。。。老婆婆差一点就从梯级跌了下来。真让人捏一把冷汗。。。
我当时真的吓傻了，尽有如此恶人存在。太可恶了。。。
眼看这一幕一位己下车的妇女冲上公车，手里的伞就往中年男子一挥，正中目标。气得破口大骂“为什么推我妈妈！，为什么！” 气得再挥手里的伞打着男子不放。男子没有回骂，也没有回手，只有一直往车里挤去。在旁的老婆婆就劝妇女说“算了，算了，快走吧”老婆婆再三劝说后，妇女才下车和老婆婆离去。
司机没有设法去阻止反而和周围的人们一样观望情况。见怪不怪，可能见多了不奇怪。哈哈！

事后我心想那位中年男子如何在车里面对人们异样的眼光，找个洞躲起来或下一站下车比较好吧。还是现在的人经验多脸皮比较厚？至于那一位老婆婆呢？繁忙时间还是小心点，如可以搭德士最好吧。。。

My pre-ordered copy of her album. 5th Dec 09 (Sat), she is coming back to Singapore again @ Bugis Junction. =D

Coming to an end...

Is this going to be happening to us? My colleague told me during our lunch time, "since the world is coming to an end, we should go spend all our money. If it is not enough, we should go borrow from friends or even bank to spend all." Then i replied him, "hey if the world is still exist after 2012, you will be gone(broke) by then." Some lame talks due to stress? Ha ha..
I have not been watching any movies for a couple of months, thus my blog also does not have any updates on movies review at all. Maybe due to examinations period and also there were no movies that interest me. One of the factor is no one invite me out for movie too. I don't watch movie alone, prefer to watch with a friend or a group of them. We can able to share and comment on the movie.
2012 the movie has some good review around and most of my friends told me it is a nice movie. After i watched, first impression of the movie was too exaggerate, everything seems so unreal to me but when think back if it happens, maybe it will be even worse than this. For the graphic effect in the movie was excellent also - Earth cracking, volcano erupt, tsunami... People running, praying for hopes, protecting and saying goodbyes to loves one, selfishness to stay alive were shown. It was breath-taking to watch.
Overall credit to the graphic effect to make the movie so marvellous, at least 3.5-4 stars for the movie. Yesterday after work then go "shopping" around then sit down drink coffee till late night then watch the movie. Ending around 12am, still in my office attire so uncomfortable. I also went to Suntec Convention to see the Electric sales and AFA09 is setting up for today event. Now i shall prepare my camera and its time to set off. AFA09~

Await...

Woosh! Just woke up.. Now is 11pm? Almost 12am...
After my examination in the morning, i was too tired when i got back home. Faster jumped into my bed after did some mailing documents. Spending less than a minute, i am deeply into my dreamland. Yesterday studied till almost 4am then went for a 2 to 3 hours nap then had to rush to school for my morning paper. My brother even more power, we together studied in the night. I cannot take it anymore then went to sleep first, when i woke up in the morning he still awake. When i back home from school, he still awake. Godlike mode.
"Yeah!"
Finally finished all my papers. After feeling bad for my previous paper which i did badly, today paper no matter what i need to get better result. Hope to get A, or at least a B+ for today paper. Ha ha.. Some say after exam just don't think of anything, relax till the results release. For me, no matter what before releasing of results, i still will remembered how badly i did for my OM often. Hopefully to have moderation as a lot of my friends said it was tough too. Let did badly together! He he..

At the moment of peace, at least can "relax" a bit. The next big event i attending will be during this weekend.

This event seemed like organised for me,宅男 ba? Ha ha..
Yeah i gotten my tickets in advance. Really cool to go for the second time free. Last year i went for afa08 and it is quite enriching to see so many interesting stuffs around. There are also quite a lot of cosplay around, display of gundam model, anime toys, dvd, comics etc. There are stage show and talks too. This year i not sure what is going to be happening. Shall take a look during my visit on that day itself.
This time round, i shall be bringing my camera along to take some manga or anime model. Last year only managed to take some photos using my camera phone. Not clear and not nice also. Now i am going for some testing shot with my 'new' camera. Let see the real 'power' of my photography skills or should be the quality of my camera instead. If got decent shots will upload to my blog album again for sharing.. Cheers!

ARGH... Today paper was tough!
Should be able to aim for a 40%. Confidence on 30%. Sad case.
Now I am trying to focus on my next paper tomorrow..

The "Olds" Days...

Yesterday meeting a friend lunching at Ngee Ann Poly. Went to Canteen 3 which was the most frequent canteen i went during my poly days. Ha ha.. Those who accompanied me there should know.
While walking there, i was thinking whether the stall is still exist after so many years after my graduation. Guess what, it still exist and also the western food stall also same as usual just beside the vegetarian stall. Not much differences.
The uncle selling is still the same person. I remembered his face. Ha ha.. Look familiar to me or all uncles look similar? Anyway, the food there is still taste as great. The rice, the noodle, bee hoon and the curry plus the fried po piah. Nice.. Feel I am back in the past, people around should thought I am another ordinary student of the school rather than a working adult outside. Appearance still stay at poly or not much difference to me, but recently met a army/poly friend outside, he can't even recognise me. OMG! Maybe bigger in size?
Anyway back to topic, our canteen 1 no more now under renovation. Maybe building new one? Not sure. The staircase walking up toward Block 82 also gone. The bookshop at the entrance also gone. Thought of walking back to the bus-stop but the path is blocked by construction. No choice had to walk a big round toward the bus stop. The school indeed has changed a lot compared to the past. Not sure when is the next time when i am back again. Maybe for lunch again with my other friends in Ngee Ann? Ha ha..

金曲 PARTY！

今年的新加坡金曲獎真是值回票价！能够一次过看到我所喜欢与支持的歌手，太好了。出席的有五月天，S.H.E，梁文音，萧敬腾，徐佳莹等歌手。每人都有机会唱到自己的歌曲，简直是音乐上的享受吧！今年设有延伸舞台，观众能近距离欣赏到台上歌手们的尽歌热舞。我所购买的票刚好在延伸舞台不远处，能看得一清二楚。

每位出席歌手都唱三首歌曲上下，第一个演唱的歌手让我觉得不错的是张芸京。听她唱现场的《黑裙子》很好听，还能猋高音呢。超偶得冠军不是盖的。“”
接下来我所期待的就是星光二的梁文音了，也是第一次看到本人，太美丽了！可惜没拍下她的照片，太专注看着她在表演了。哈哈！再度恭喜梁文音勇奪第15屆新加坡金曲獎3項大獎! 《最受歡迎女歌手》、《最受歡迎新人獎》、《優秀新人獎》!!我有常上933去投票支持她，有点参与感。哈哈。 真是實至名歸!! 多麼興奮難忘的一晚! 太感動了！文音也唱了三首自己的歌曲《最幸福的事》，《爱一直存在》和新歌《哭过就好了》。如果她来新加坡开演唱会，我一定会去的！对了，第二張專輯《愛, 一直存在》一定要去支持。

星光三的徐佳莹和黃靖倫也演唱自己的歌曲，《身骑白马》好好听喔！ROCKER 萧敬腾也来了。星光一的黑蜘蛛，省话一哥真的不多话呢。一问一答真有趣，哈哈。当萧敬腾演唱《王妃》时，简直是太强了啦！ROCKER4EVER！他的唱功与ROCKER的斯吼，真是令人热血沸腾起来！
紧接的是五月天的现场‘LIVE BAND'就像是在开迷你演唱会一般。唱了耳熟能详的《天使》和《倔强》，我也一起跟着唱，太HIGH了！三首太少了，没能听见《你不是怎正的快乐》和《突然想起你》。最后压凑就是S.H.E了！这三位太活泼可爱了。还会模仿AUNTY LUCY的SO EMBARRASSING，太好笑了！ELLA蹦蹦跳跳太HIGH了吧。她们演唱了《锁住时间》，《中国话》，《美丽新世界》和《SUPER STAR》就仿佛是演唱会！如果有来新加坡开唱的话，二话不说一定要去的！

从七点半坐到要十二点，屁股都有点痛。哈哈！之后去吃夜宵，到家时就凌晨两三点了。回味金曲，HIGH到四点才睡呢。值回票价！值回票价！今晚U频道会播出！

林宥嘉 - 说谎

Welcome to once a week blog post!! My blog post seem like becoming a pattern. Either is Friday, Saturday or Sunday is my blog post. Weekdays are been busying with work as well as school work. Examinations are around the corner too. Today is my study day, home alone, all other out overseas. Ha ha..
Reading my books and listening to new album by one of my favorite singer - Yoga. Bought his first album from Taiwan during my holiday trip. Now is his second. Love one of his song called 说谎. Now I am able to sing with lyrics, soon i can conquer the KTV again with this song. Nice till keep repeating repeating and repeating...



Don't understand what the MV is trying to say till reading some comments:
The MV is trying to interpret that the guy still loved the girl after break up but he refused to admit it in the first place. he tries to conform the girl that he's doing well even when he is not. that's why he keeps telling her he didn't lied. when finally the girl was getting married, he wouldn't hold his feeling anymore and left the needle as to show that he was actually lying to her from the beginning.

Halloween Night ...

Woo whoo.. We had been planning this Halloween trip since don't know when. Finally we get to go after re-scheduling the date behind for two weeks. Credit to those who "cooperate" to the ever-changing time, making this trip possible. Ha ha..
Lucky last minute the car is available so we not taking any public transport. What not so lucky will be I can't book online ticket as need to be 48 hours in advance. When we reached, the entrance was so crowded along with the long queue. Regretted that i never make online purchase in order to skip the waiting time queuing up for the tickets. Within the long queue, there are also can see a lot of "monsters & ghosts" moving around accompanied by scream from groups of girls queuing for the tickets. A family with a small kid who was beside us was scared by the "ghost", the kid cried so in the end they decide to give up the trip and head back home. So disappointed. Anyway, thanks for those "monsters" around to keep us occupied without knowing how long we waited for the queue. He he..
After we get the tickets, we need to wait again for the tram ride. The ride is quite ok, the night was quite dark till I cannot see some of the animals. Only thing was the person behind us was too noisy. Complaining about the smell, talking rubbish, been so noisy throughout the ride. Even his girlfriend sitting beside keep asking him to shut up or kick him off the tram. Tram of terror toward Neverland. Anyway it isn't that scary after all. There are so many people around and i am sitting in the centre of the tram ride, being shield and protected.
In summary, I did not managed to get a lot of shot from the trip. No flash photography on animals. Only managed to flash on those "monsters & ghosts" around the park. My flash is too powerful even my friends were being "blinded" by my flash flash. Ha ha.. Too bad never sit on the Halloween cocktail express with Halloween dessert were served during the tram.
After the trip, I drive for supper then sent all my friends home. In the end got home around 2am plus 3am. So tiring...

桃花小妹

Recommending a new drama... Wang Xin Ling!!!


Get to know this drama from Kang Xi Lai Le hosting by Xiao S and Cai Kang Yong, today just happened to have a glance while my brother was watching. Hmm... Not so bad, quite interesting and so i sat down continue watch. Ha ha..
From what i know the storyline is about Wang Xin Ling is the youngest sister in the family. She have 5 elder brothers. The 5th brother(Huang Jing Lun) is treated as "extra" in the family, being bullied by the other 4 elder brother. The 4 brother including the 5th one treat their sister very nice and very caring to her, protecting her. Any guys who propose to her will get some "interview" from the 4 brothers.
What make me watch this drama mostly will be those scene where Huang Jing Lun is being bullied and also support Singaporean. He look like more comedian and main actor in the drama rather than a singer. Others will be because of Wang Xin Ling and the way how 4 brothers did to protect his sister. Ha ha..
Channel U and Taiwan is showing this drama at the same time. Stay tuned for the news. Can't wait for the 2nd episode this weekend.

Pro or Amateur ???

This weekend I am planning to start the registration for my uni stuffs plus slotting some notes for my coming exam. But today is a holiday, my plan was ruined again. I am now on a holiday mood. Early in the morning @ 7am went out for prata breakfast already.
Then heading back home to prepare my photos for submission later on in the afternoon. Oh ya, Thank all for the "description" help as my English is very PTE LTD.
I am just giving a try by sending some of my photo shot for my debut photo competition. To me, my photos are quite normal and nothing special, thus there are not much hope of winning any prizes from it.
During the submission day still can see a lot of photographers hanging around at the mall taking shot. Some are "Fully equipped", pulling a luggage bag with DSLR camera and carrying a tripod strolling around. Some others stand at the middle of the mall, hide somewhere in the corner, even got bring their own model or children to take shot. Wow.. that was a bit threatening with those expensive equipment they are carrying. Well, back to point, how expensive your camera are? The most important is the person who is managing it. Ha ha.. For me, camera considered not bad, personally feel myself is the problem. Ha ha..
For my photos, i think the winning point will depend on the "2 ang moh kids" already. Also the reflection as it is a bit "artistic". The flower shot is too normal and the outcome of the shot is not very colourful after printed out. Those who have not seen my photos, may check out at my blog photo album. Ha ha..
So the result will be out on 26 Oct which is next next Monday. Those winning shot will be displayed at the exhibition hall. If got time may passby to see how the "pro" snap are. Gain some experiences... Level up!!!

I should bring my camera out often, who knows i would bang into my dream girl during my snapshot. Ha ha.. Think too much. Touching ending, nice.
Haiz.. Back to my assignment. Why this year all my group-mates so #$!#%&#%$# one. Deadline coming still not much action done, call them never pick up, mail never reply. Good Job. Ha ha..

Debut Wedding Shot

It was really a tiring day. Early in the morning, thunder accompanied by raining. In my bed, don't feel like waking up. In the end no choice had to wake up and set off to the groom house to help out. Luckily the rain stopped when reached the place. 1st mission: deco the wedding car. I don't even know how to do that. Just follow the instruction and read the handout given by the groom. The end product still not bad, don't look like newbie works at all. Subaru wedding car.. He he..
After that was the starting of my photography shot. From the groom house to bride hotel then from hotel back to home. The whole journey keep on snapping shot, not to miss any precious moments. The weather becoming hot and the house was full of relative and friends. I keep wiping my sweat while taking my shot. Once i got a chance to sit down for a short rest, i am ordered to take shot again by the groom relative. During afternoon time, i went back for a short nap of less than 1 hour then set back to hotel and prepare for my night shot.
I prefered my night shot at the hotel than my morning shot during tea ceremony. Maybe there got nicer background and more interaction between guests. I am treated more like a photographer than a friend of the groom. The whole process from the guests arriving, couple march in, on stage, table to table shot and sending off the guest. Running all over the place and i don't even have time to sit down for my vegetarian wedding dinner dishes. Only managed to eat 2 dishes then continue my photoshot. When i reached home was around past midnight and was hungry.
Overall it was a very good experiences in shooting wedding photography. Most of the photo shot were well-taken and can be improved. Thanks for my friend in given me a chance for being the main photographer during his big day. Now i am back to my study, exams is coming. Assignment also due this week. Time to stress again. Ha ha..
